Tell children that family prayer helps us stay close to each other and to Heavenly Father. The Savior said that if we pray with our families in His name, our family will be blessed (3 Nephi 18:21). Praying together invites the Holy Ghost to guide us, and we can grow closer to Heavenly Father as we pray and receive guidance and protection.
