Learn Together Lesson Ideas (activities below help teach):
To prepare for a discussion that builds on Isaiah 1–12, you could ask each youth to bring to the meeting something red and something white. You could display these objects while reading together Isaiah 1:16–18. Then the youth could share in their own words what they learn from these verses. Feeling sorry that we have sinned is helpful and leads us toward repentance. Feeling discouraged or worthless because of our sins is not helpful and can keep us from repenting. See more in the lesson (spotlighting examples of those in the scriptures who turned to the Savior and repented).

LESSON-MATCH ACTIVITIES:

#1 YOUTH ACTIVITY: With this Guess Who Was Saved By the Savior youth will learn Book of Mormon stories of Enos, Alma the Younger, King Lamoni’s father … to know we can be saved like them.

#2 YOUTH ACTIVITY: With this Sunshine Repentance doorknob reminder youth can learn from Mosiah 27:29 that they can move from darkness into light and feel the warmth and peace that true repentance brings. Then write the eight steps to repentance on the back.

#3 POSTER ACTIVITY: This Eraser Promises steps to repentance pencil & bookmark will direct the youth to repent and erase the wrong, receive forgiveness, and make the right choices.

#4 YOUTH ACTIVITY. With this tool, Righteous Radio youth can Tune-in to the Lord’s will each day as they: Pray; Study scriptures, Receive the Holy Ghost as they live commandments, and Receive priesthood blessings and a Patriarchal Blessing.
