THE LORD COMMUNICATES THROUGH SCRIPTURES
Activity #1: Revelation Promise: Moroni 10:4-5 Bite-size Memorize poster

OBJECTIVE: Encourage youth to memorize the Book of Mormon’s promise found in Moroni 10:4-5, to gain a personal testimony of the Book of Mormon, and to study and live its teachings (another testament of Jesus Christ).

RECORD SPIRITUAL INSPIRATIONS IN A JOURNAL
Activity #2: I will not be deceived if I . . . – Moroni 7:16-17 Bite-size Memorize Journal

OBJECTIVE: Encourage youth to memorize Moroni 7:15-17 to be able to judge good from evil, avoid temptation, and follow Jesus.
ACTIVITY: As you talk about ways they can know the truth and follow Jesus, youth can write in the journal filling in the blanks with the missing words: I will not be deceived if I . . . Keep the commandments; Follow the promptings of the Holy Ghost; Study the scriptures; Follow the living prophets.

SEEKING & RECEIVING REVELATION
Activity #3: Choose the RIght: Righteous Radio - Five Ways to Tune in (tool)

OBJECTIVE: Youth can have their own personal radio check to see if they are tuned into the counsel of the Lord, to make sure they are in tune with righteous living.
ACTIVITY: This teaching tool is to help youth review the five ways we can tune in to the Lord’s will: personal prayer, study and meditation, the gift of the Holy Ghost, priesthood blessings, and patriarchal blessing. The latter-day prophet and apostles tell of these ways we can be close to the Lord and receive inspiration.

DISCERNING THE SPIRIT'S PROMPTINGS
Activity #4: Spirit of Truth crossmatch

OBJECTIVE: To encourage youth to listen to the promptings of the Holy Ghost. This way they can choose the right and be happy. Help youth know the difference between righteous ideas (ideas from God) and unrighteous ideas (ideas Not from God). Explain that ideas are like a light going on inside our minds. The light that comes from God is a bright light that brings a warm, happy feeling. The light that comes not from God is a dim light that brings a cold, sad feeling.
