ACTIVITIES LISTED BELOW:
YOUTH GOAL/LESSON ACTIVITY. CANDLE OF THE LORD scripture word search. Youth can write the gospel of Jesus Christ in their heart as they search the scriptures for words that help them follow Him. Here they will see that the Lord lights their path through revelation from the Holy Ghost.
YOUTH GOAL/LESSON ACTIVITY. WARM FUZZY RIGHTEOUS REMINDERS poster and bookmark. Youth can be reminded of five ways they can live the gospel daily to feel our Savior’s love. They can place a smiling face over the circle for which they try to live the gospel in that way: Love, Service, Obedience, Prayer, Study, and Work.
QUOTE ACTIVITY. ColorQuote COVENANT PATH. Youth can memorize this quote to remind them that following the prophet is a good idea as they speak to God and know the way back to Him. “When we choose to live according to the words of the prophets, we are on the covenant path that leads to perfection.” – Carol F. McConkie
YOUTH GOAL ACTIVITY. “SWEET HOUR OF PRAYER” tent card. Youth can read the sweet words of this song and the words of Alma to know that God wants to guide them. Warn them not to wait until the end of the day or until they are in need; pray often. Sing with youth this song to memorize the verses. Write on the back things they want to pray about.
