To begin a discussion, you could ask each class or quorum member (or small groups) to review one of the following accounts: 2 Kings 4:1–7; 5:6–14; 6:8, 13–17. Ask them to look for something that inspires them to read and follow the teachings of today’s prophets and apostles.
THERE'S MORE IN THE SUNDAY SCHOOL LESSON (SUMMARY): Why do you have a prophet? How is a prophet chosen? How do you know that the prophet really speaks for God?

#2 Prophet Ponder Journal to (OBJECTIVE): Write notes from the living prophet's talk on the journal page. Review notes and share ideas.
#3 Youth Goal Planner "My Faith Grows as I Learn from the Scriptures and the Living Prophets"
OBJECTIVE: With this planner, the youth can search and ponder the scriptures and discuss with youth groups, friends, or family what they have learned and challenge them to do the following (found on the planner).
#4 Amos 3:7 scripture poster/card to memorize “Surely the Lord God will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets.”
