LESSON PART 3 Learn Together

This BUNDLE is to give youth leaders many activities to teach the above theme for the bi-weekly lesson.
Look for these activity handouts to help you teach lesson concepts and give them TEACHING TOOLS to plan and develop lesson objectives. These lesson-match interactive activities will add to and enhance your lessons.
LESSON-MATCH ACTIVITIES IN THIS BUNDLE INCLUDES (detailed below):
ACTIVITIES:
#1 YOUTH GOAL ACTIVITY. JESUS IS MY LIFE SAVIOR Life-preserver Promises planner. This reminds youth that Jesus suffered for our sins (so we can repent) and gave His life for us (so that we might live again); He is our Savior. Write on planner ways to draw close to Him through Prayer, Scriptures, and Actions (life preserver promises that will help you earn eternal life).
#2 YOUTH LESSON ACTIVITY. “HEN GATHERETH HER CHICKENS” tent-card. Youth can learn this scripture and list ways to follow the Savior. 3 Nephi 10:6 “How oft will I gather you as a hen gathereth her chickens under her wings, if ye will repent and return unto me with full purpose of heart.”
#3 POSTER ACTIVITY. GUESS WHO WAS SAVED BY THE SAVIOR? Youth will learn the Book of Mormon stories of Enos, Alma the Younger, Zeezrom, King Lamoni’s father, and the man brought to Jesus. This will give them hope that they too can be saved because of the sacrifice of Jesus Christ.
#4 YOUTH GOAL ACTIVITY. WHAT THINK YE OF CHRIST? scripture ponder journal. Youth can learn testimonies of Jesus Christ by reading the scriptures and making notes on the cards, e.g., 3 Nephi 11 – He is “the light and the life of the world.” Then, write their own personal testimony on the journal page.
Lesson Ideas (below)
As class or quorum members learn about the mission Jesus Christ was sent to accomplish, they will be more inspired to make the Savior the center of their lives. Perhaps they could search Isaiah 61:1–3 and make a list on the board of what the Savior was anointed to do (see also Luke 4:16–20). How did the Savior fulfill these aspects of His mission? How does He fulfill them in our lives now? The ideas below can help your class or quorum continue a discussion about why Jesus Christ should be the center of our lives.
